Welcome to 2035, where authorities are trying to silence the word "pussy" – but Mama V and her followers won't be quieted. This multimedia theatrical experience follows a charismatic southern matriarch leading a secret gathering where participants share stories of liberation, pleasure, and education while dodging government censorship.
Through ingenious use of multimedia, O'Brien transforms into Mama V while populating her world with digital disciples who appear via "Zype" – a futuristic communication platform. This innovative approach creates a one-woman show with the energy and diversity of an ensemble cast.
Is it a sex cult? A Utopian Fallopian Fantasy? Or… an ancient religion ripe for revival?

Summer 2025 Performances

Eleanor O'Brien, artistic director of Dance Naked Creative, has been creating theatrical experiences celebrating sexuality and human connection since 2005. Her bold, boundary-pushing work has earned international acclaim at venues including the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and London's Vagina Museum. Plan V represents the culmination of five years developing this vision through multiple iterations, now touring Canada’s famed fringe circuit.

Life Imitates Art
Eleanor O'Brien's Plan V: The Rise of Reverence transcends typical theatre by spawning a real-world movement celebrating female sexuality. Set in 2035, the show imagines underground "Plan V gatherings" where participants share stories of "pussy joys and griefs" while authorities attempt to silence them. Confronted with the question “Is Plan V a real thing?” O’Brien started hosting Plan V gatherings after performances. These gatherings include art making, game playing and of course, sharing stories. The movement now includes on-going co-horts, workshops, a discord channel, a DIY Plan V Handbook, and a website. In a world increasingly hostile to bodily autonomy, O'Brien's "pleasure activism" offers a revolutionary path forward—proving art can leap from stage to social change.
Eleanor O'Brien has been taken down off youtube, vimeo & instagram - all because her work is deemed "unsafe". Live theater is the last bastion of freedom in the fight for sex-positive storytelling.
