O’Brien is an accomplished performer known for bold, edgy material. In the era of #metoo and #timesup, the story she weaves envisions a path out of the darkness of misogyny and into the Age of Enlightenment! By kneeling at the altar and paying lip service to the divine, the story moves from ewwww to awwwwe, unpacking cultural shame around cunnilingus and returning to reverence for the sacred pussy.

With a wicked sense of humor, and frankness that’s refreshing, O’Brien brings the audience on a journey that is both deeply personal and totally universal. What woman hasn’t wondered about her floral balance?

What (straight) man hasn’t been confused by the mysteries of the box ? Inclusive, intimate, and radically honest, this solo show illuminates the joys and terrors of going down.

“I want to dismantle mystery and stigma around cunnilingus - both giving AND receiving - and bring a reverence for Regina back into fashion” says O’Brien. “Like the brilliant Eve Ensler, I hope to normalize and celebrate female sexuality. This vagina monologue is intended to get people talking and thinking about the orgasm gap, why we’re seeing an epidemic of bad sex, and how the ancient practice of ‘honoring the Goddess’ can help us evolve and heal the current climate of distrust.”

Whether you are an owner of a yoni, or just a lover of ladybits, How to Really, Really? (Really!) Love a Woman is certain to inspire, inform and stimulate all kinds of juicy ...conversations!
